My New Best Friend (Sorry Kim)

Ok, us girls always want great looking hair- you know the kind you see in commercials that is so shiny and silky smooth and when you whip your head around it just bounces and seems to fall into place (the Pantene commercial comes to mind right about now) Well I want that hair!! And it seems no matter what I do it doesn't work. My hair lately has been looking bad- dry and brittle looking, not good at all so I have been in search of a hair repair. I have scoured the internet reading all the reviews on different products and of course they ALL say it is the best and then you get sucked into buying it, trying it and nothing, nada zilch. You have just wasted tons of money to literally be washed down the drain. This is where my new best friend comes in...

So for Christmas my mom got me an Ulta gift card (thank you Mom!). I had originally gone in there to buy something a little more exciting than shampoo and conditioner such as makeup or perfume but I ended up in the shampoo area. After reading every shampoo bottle I was so confused on what would or would not work. Finally the nice lady came over and asked if she could help me. I told her my hair dilema and she said "I know exactly what you need". In my mind I thought "yeah right I am going to be sucked in again to buying something that says it is the best and greatest and all that it turns out to be is a huge disappointment". She hands me this product called Joico KPak and tells me I will love it and notice a difference in about a month. Anyone who knows me might tend to agree I am not a patient person. I do not like delayed gratification- if I want something I want it now and I have no time to wait, but I committed myself to trying it for at least a month because she talked this product up so much- either it really works or she is a great salesperson. Last week was the first week I tried this little jewel and all I can say is I AM IN LOVE!! Already in a week I notice a big difference I can only imagine how giddy I will be in a month.  It is a 3 step process with a shampoo, conditioner and a deep penetrating reconstructing cream that you use 2 times a week. One thing I like the most- it does not seem to weigh my hair down and make it flat (absolutely cannot have flat hair). It seems  a little pricy but so far it was worth the expense.  If you are in need of something amazing, I would definitely recommend this product.

  1. Girl where have you been? I used this stuff in high school! Good thing you didn't notice or you would have replaced me a long time ago!

  2. I guess I never paid attention to your hair care products back then other than the Aqua Net! I know Joico has been around and I have used it before but not this KPak stuff.
