Day 4- more snow

Here we are again, day 4 and more snow... I seriously think this is God's punishment on Texas for having the Steelers and the Packers here at the same time for the Super Bowl. In an attempt to stop from banging my head against the wall or pulling my eyelashes out one by one from shear boredom, I searched out for more useless information to fill my noggin and thought I would be so kind to share with you (i love useless information, it at times, comes in handy and makes people think you are waaay smarter than what you really are)
  1. The world's youngest parents were 8 and 9 and lived in China in 1910
  2. An eagle can kill a young deer, and fly away with it
  3. The leg bones of a bat are so thin that no bat can walk
  4. A shrimp's heart is in its head
  5. Quebec City, Canada, has about as much street crime as Disney World (maybe we should move there)
  6. The only member of the band ZZ Top without a beard has the last name Beard
  7. It is physically impossible for pigs to look up into the sky
  8. Dolphins sleep with one eye open
  9. Montpelier, VT is the only U.S. state capital without a McDonalds (what?!?)
  10. Slugs have 4 noses
  11. "Stewardesses" is the longest word that is typed with only the left hand
  12. It's possible to lead a cow upstairs ... but not downstairs
  13. Only food that does not spoil: honey
  14. The electric chair was invented by a dentist (no wonder I hate the dentist)
  15.  It was discovered on a space mission that a frog can throw up. The frog throws up it's stomach first, so the stomach is dangling out of it's mouth. Then the frog uses it's forearms to dig out all of the stomach's contents and then swallows the stomach back down again( I KNOW you all were wondering about this one)
  16.  To "testify" was based on men in the Roman court swearing to a statement made by swearing on their testicles (wonder how many lied...)
  17. In ancient Egypt , priests plucked EVERY hair from their bodies, including their eyebrows and eyelashes (they must have been snowed in too)
  18. Nutmeg is extremely poisonous if injected intravenously (does one typically shoot up nutmeg??)
  19. It costs more to buy a new car today in the United States than it cost Christopher Columbus to equip and undertake three voyages to and from the New World
  20. In the country of Turkey, in the 16th and 17th centuries, anyone caught drinking coffee was put to death (it's a good thing I didn't live in Turkey then, we might have had some issues)
And there you have it... things to ponder on while you are sitting at home watching the snow fall... again.
