Merry Christmas!!! I hope everyone has had a great day and Santa brought you exactly what you were wishing for. My day started very early today. Drew woke up at about 12:30 asking if it was time to get up now. I told him no, not yet Santa had not been here. Then he came into my room at about 5:30 this morning no longer able to contain his excitement. I tried to lay there as long as possible but he would not hear of it. Normally I get pictures of him coming down the stairs and him looking at the tree to see what Santa brought him but because he switched it up on me this year, I didn't get any of those pictures. Oh well. We spent the better part of the day listening to Drew play his Paper Jamz guitar which he was super excited about and would NOT put it down. I am really not sure why I continually torture myself with toys or things that make constant noise- but I do. Now just as fast as the day got here it is gone- it is funny how fast it seems to go by when you are playing with your kids toys all day! There is one thing Drew got that I am anxiously waiting to play with and that is a telescope from his Papa Deg. We had to tell Drew that the only thing he can do with the telescope is look up in the sky and not in the neighbors windows! He didn't seem to like that idea too much, but he said "Ok." One gift that I am totally digging are his handcuffs that he asked for. It is amazing how still he is with those on! Don't worry I won't handcuff him to the table or anything.

The worn and tattered Bible that Pawpaw reads from. He has had this Bible since 1957,
as you can tell the cover is missing and the binding is worn. |

Drew taking his guitar playing outside so the neighbors can enjoy! He didn't notice me at first but then he saw me through the window. So funny...
